Abagail is the founder and Executive Director of Spark in the Dark. She has a strong background in public relations, marketing, nonprofit management, and public speaking.
​She is mother  of two beautiful children and any pet that needs saving!

Jared McKiernan

Vice President

Jared holds a Bachelor's degree in journalism and owns a content marketing company based out of Traverse City, MI that works with clients across the country. His background is in video content, marketing, and journalism in the nonprofit sector.

Andrew and Jennifer Morneau

Co-treasurers

Husband and Wife duo Jennifer and Andrew have been together for 21 years and are still going strong with two beautiful children! Andrew studied business at CMU and has a strong background in finance. Jennifer has a bachelor's of science in Nursing from GVSU.

Technology Expert

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our board who has a background in technology development and shares a passion to see technological advancement in the nonprofit sector. 

Financial advisor

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our board who has a background in financial mangement and financial management systems such as quickbooks. This person will move into the role of treasurer after the 3 month trial period to make sure we are a good fit for one another.
